No. A tap opens a web page in the phone's browser, and a printed QR code covers any phone that can't tap. Nothing to install, no accounts.
Can the band handle check-in too?
Yes. We manufacture the chips, so the same band can encode event access or check-in and link to a branded event page alongside the photo album.
