Event NFC wristbands · 2026

Event NFC wristbands & tap-to-share albums, explained.

A Wearable Events band is an engraved bead band — an NFC event wristband — given to each attendee. A tap to a phone opens that attendee’s own page in your shared event album — no app, no login — and every attendee’s photos gather into one live album the organizer keeps. Attendees choose, per photo: public, group-only, or organizer-only.

Questions organizers ask

What is a Wearable Events band?

It is an engraved bead band — also known as an NFC event wristband — given to each attendee. They tap it to their phone and their own page in your shared event album opens, with no app and no login, so every attendee's photos gather into one live album the organizer keeps.

How does an NFC event wristband share photos?

Each band has a tiny tap chip and a printed code. An attendee taps it to their phone — or scans the code — and a photo album opens that already knows who they are, so they add their shots in seconds. The printed code is the backup for any phone that can't tap.

Do attendees need to download an app?

No. A tap opens a normal web page in the phone's browser. There is nothing to install and no account to create — every attendee is included, with no IT helpdesk required.

Can attendees keep some photos private?

Yes, photo by photo: public (everyone at the event), group-only (the circle the attendee picks), or organizer-only. It is enforced behind the scenes, not just hidden in the interface, so each setting really holds.

Can the band do more than photos?

Yes. Because we're an NFC/RFID manufacturer, the same chip can encode event access or check-in and point a tap at a branded event page — your agenda, venue map, sponsors and the album — all from one tap.

Which phones can tap an event band?

Virtually all modern iPhones and Android phones can tap. For older phones, a matching QR code is printed on each band as a backup, so no attendee is left out.

How much do custom event wristbands cost?

Bands are priced per band, and the price falls as quantity grows: woven cotton runs $70 a band at the five-band minimum down to $12 at 500+; beaded bands run $80 down to $14. Most organizers order one band per attendee. Full quantity tables are on the pricing page, and we send a proof before you pay.

Can we run it under our own brand (white-label)?

Yes. Agencies, experiential teams, conference organizers and promotional-products distributors can white-label the bands, the album, the dashboard and the emails. See the white-label page.

What happens to the photos after the event?

Everything gathers into one shared album the organizer owns. Browse, react, comment and download every photo, export the whole album in one click for a recap reel, or hand a branded gallery to sponsors — with the comments attendees left, kept.
